Founded in 2026, North Country Roller Derby is St. Lawrence County’s only roller derby league, bringing the fast-paced, hard-hitting, community-driven sport of flat track roller derby to the North Country of New York.
Built from the ground up by local skaters and supporters, our league was created with a bold vision: to grow into a fully practicing Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) league by 2027. We are committed to developing skilled athletes, fostering leadership, and creating an inclusive space where people of all backgrounds can thrive on and off the track.
Roller derby is more than a sport, it’s empowerment, teamwork, strategy, and resilience on eight wheels. As the only league of its kind in St. Lawrence County, we aim to provide opportunities for athletic development, community engagement, and competitive play at both regional and national levels.
